Using technology built in to the iPhone 6 and the Apple Watch, Apple Pay pulls users’ credit card, debit card and other sensitive payment data from the Apple Passbook, making in-app checkout quick, safe and seamless.
Apple itself is promoting the apps as three of five that were ready on launch day, focusing on how convenient it is to pay with a single touch within apps. Checking out is as easy as selecting Apple Pay and placing your finger on Touch ID.
